I know where all of these parks are, and I've been to them tons of times when I used to live in Bergen. The Glen Rock area probably has the best chance of having open parking spaces, as they have two lots. The lot in the back is oversized for the park, and typically has plenty of spaces left. Dunkerhook can be very tight, Ridgewood can also be very tight. The Rochelle Park and Saddle Brook areas are totally out of the question, due to crowding. The only problem with Van Suan, is that also gets very crowded.

Those interested in some lunch on the way from the GSP to Glen Rock can stop at a pretty great pizza place called Ness Pizza House. Anyone with navigation will note that the address listed in the nav for this is wrong.

That was my thinking (with Glen Rock). I can bring us there, as I live in the town (how convenient). But anyway, like I said, we can figure it out when the time comes.

I just thought of another place!

On Rt.4 (east side) there is another mall, Bergen Mall. There was a store that closed (Value City) with a huge parking lot. Since no one moved in there, it is always empty. Even on weekends as far as i saw.

Same area as the Garden State Plaza, just a little further down Rt4. East

From Garden State Parkway
North bound exit 161 to route 4 East, straight approximately 1/2 mile
South bound exit 163, proceed to Route 4 East

From George Washington Bridge
Route 4 West, Straight approximately 9 miles to Forest Avenue

From Lincoln Tunnel
Route 3 West to Route 17 North to Route 4 East

From New Jersey Turnpike
I-95 (Turnpike) North to Exit 18. Take Route 80 West to 17 North to Route 4 East, 1.2 mile down on right-hand side.

Route 46 East to Route 20 North to Route 4 East

Isn't there a crappy movie theater there that no one ever goes to? they have a parking lot usually empty since its the furthest from the Mall itself.

i think we're going to need to set a place because theres going to be a lot of ny people and north jersey people that are going to meet us at the park and not to the drive up the park and if we change things last minute those people might be screwed

We are ALL meeting at Garden State Plaza, as was the plan from the start. Everyone's problem with Van Saun park is that it's a Sunday and it's going to be extremely busy. Anyway, point is, we're all meeting at Garden State Plaza, not just as a caravan. The idea was that we go to Garden State Plaza, wait for everyone to show up, then collectively make a choice as to where we go next. So even if it is Van Saun Park, we're all meeting at Garden State Plaza outside of American Joes/Paparazzi first because we'll probably be waiting an hour there to collect everyone, at which point (around 1pm) we'll make our move.

I just washed tthe car and on sunday its going to rain. How annoying. alos i dont recomend to do a brakelight on an ML if you have a rear light gard. Most annoying thing in the world. I build pc's so i knoq annoyoing.
