Hey gang, we are still finalizing our annual show but wanted to extend an invitation to our monthly meet. We meet every third Friday of the month. The last meet went over real well and we moved it to have some ice cream.
Well just wanted to get a thread started to get ya'lls taste buds going for this months meet. As we told a few of ya'll last month we are extending the invitation to you guys every month. So this is a reminder that the meet is coming up in the next couple of weeks and will be on Friday the 18th.
We will meet again at the Marble Slab on Peachtree St. (It's a really good spot to stop and talk because there is a constant breeze. And GREAT photo op right there too.) We had a pretty decent turn-out of supras(really a awesome turn-out of everyone) last month and would like to have an even better one this month! So mark your calendars now!
When: Friday Aug 18th @7pm
Where: Marble Slab on Peachtree St.
Who: SELOC and SupraForums as well as a few others
How much: FREE!!! Just the cost of YOUR body out there in the parking lot hanging out!
Directions are as follows:
From the Southside:
Take 75/85N the downtown connector to 85N. Exit at GA 400N. Get off at the first exit and make a right at the light. You will have to veer to the left to be able to turn left onto Peachtree St. Turn LEFT onto Peachtree go approx a mile or less and Marble Slab will be on your right next to the Staples.
From the Northside: Take 75S to 285 E or Take 85S to 285W, to GA 400S. Make sure you have 50 CENTS for the toll booth. Get off the first exit after the toll booth (Lenox Rd). Take a left at the light onto Lenox Rd. You will have to stay to the left to be able to turn left onto Peachtree St. Turn LEFT onto Peachtree go approx a mile or less and Marble Slab will be on your right next to the Staples.
From the Eastside:
Take 85S to the Lenox Rd exit. Take a right at the light and follow Lenox all the way to Peachtree Street. Take a right onto Peachtree go approx a mile or less and Marble Slab will be on your right next to the Staples.

I would suggest getting at LEAST one persons phone number that you know is going, so you have a contact person in case you get lost or something.

Mike and the SELOC gang are a great bunch of car nuts! 
I've been to several meets and always appreciate the crowd that comes out for these. I've seen monster Supras, BMWs, WRXs, VWs, as well as some outstanding bikes and even exotics attend (lambos, Ferraris, etc.) - and of course super tuned Lexi...everything from blown GS, IS to twin turbo and nitrous-injected setups. 
This time, unfortunately, I have a conflict. But, I would encourage any MBWorld members to go and spend some time with our automotive friends.
I've been to several meets and always appreciate the crowd that comes out for these.
