Keep in mind that I won't be able to bring my car on the track day, because it will arrive in Baltimore on the 17th. I have to wait until the week after, for delivery.
I will come in my 2001 Pontiac Grand Am SE, and it will be parked outside.... far away... don't want to hurt its feelings...

30% chance of rain on friday fella's. Keep your fingers crossed. Also, theres a viper that said he would want to come as well as a grand national. If theres any precipitation the track will be closed.

Houston, we may have a problem. I have told a bunch of people about this and when I emailed Kim at Capitol to make sure we're good for friday she sent me an email back this monring saying that she has someone elses name down. I have documentation (e-mail) saying that we have the track on the 20th but I dont know whats gonna happen. I am waiting on her response.

Uh oh.. maybe I jinxed it because of my delivery delays...
I just got this email from my local dealer today..
"Hello Shahed,
The boat is docking tomorrow. And I should receive it by the 26th. ... "
At least it will get to Arlington a day earlier than scheduled, even though it is arriving in the US a day later...

I called Kim and left a message, emailed her twice and STILL havent received a response. I talked to MIR and they said someone has a lane rented out (16 fords) but were more than happy to give us the other lane. Positives are that we get the track from 9-5 as opposed to 11-4 AND they seem much more professional. Downside is its further away. Info is at www.mirdrag.com
Let me know people. If I dont get a response from Kim at Capitol by 10am tomorrow I will reserve MIR and the event will be held there. Sorry for the inconvenience. I already took the day off so either way I'm gonna rent a track dammit!
