Hey guys,

This is so we can all caravan together to the Tri-State meet in Irvine. For everyone in the SouthBay or Westside (hell, anyone coming down the 405, so Valley/TO peeps, come join us)!

The meeting place is tentatively the parking lot of Ikea in the South Bay Pavillion in Carson.

It's pretty easy to find, off of the 405 South (it's on the way to the meet):
Exit Avalon and turn left. Get to your right lane and you'll see Ikea to your right. Turn into the parking lot and you should find us. -added by drexappeal- Just to add, this is past the 110 freeway interchange.


I want to leave at around 11:30-11:40ish so we can get there around the start of the meet.

Who's down? Any comments/suggestions?

I know people start to leave after a couple of hours, so I want to get there when it starts or a little bit after so that we can be with the max number of people.

Check with Vic55 and FrankW for the Rowland / Diamond Bar / West Covina / Anaheim Hills caravan going down the TOLL ROAD and ending at the Irvine SPECTRUM to meet up with the San Diego Caravan and then go back up to TiaJuanas.

We should start that caravan thread as well......

There may be a way for all the caravans (coming from the North part of LA) to end up at a central meeting spot and heading to Tia Juana's together.

There's a big auto store called Super Autobacs in Stanton, CA (Orange County) that is off the 22 freeway. It has a big parking lot and if we could coordinate for all the caravans to get there by a certain time, it might just work perfect (I know, it would be a pain to have another stop before going to Tia Juana's). The address is 12645 BEACH BLVD, Stanton, CA, 90680. Check mapquest/yahoo maps if you want to see how to get there.

Since the people heading up from South of LA are meeting up at the Spectrum, this might be an idea to combine all the caravans coming from the north part of LA (whether it's NE or NW). Just an idea that I wanted to throw out there, but if everybody is down to do that, it might just work out perfect for ALL of us to roll to the meet at the same time.

I've been to other meets and I know there have been other car forums that scheduled this place as their central gathering before heading elsewhere.

For all the coordinators, if this seems like a plan that everybody would be okay with, then let me know so that I can merge the caravan threads.

hmm... as much as I want to check this place out, how far is it from the freeway? is it pretty far from the exit? the more times we exit or move, the more chances we'll lose someone... like at the last meet!

but I'm down no matter what.

LOL...Actually, the store is like 2 or 3 blocks off the Beach Blvd. exit from the 22 freeway. From there, it'll be 22 to the 5 South and a bulk amount of benzos arriving all at once.

dude, to be honest, I think it's best if we stuck to one freeway. take the 405 all the way down and not get lost or anything. it'll be too many people trying to go to this place and then switch freeways etc.
