well what happened was mr a4 here was showing off his quattro, and we were pritty pissed to begin with due to traffic, we barly slept, we waited at a meeting point for no one, due to no one calling, leaving their names after the decide to say were going. Then who ever picked a 15 dollar entrace to this meet should be hung. I mean meets never last for over 2 hours thats what 7.50 an hour parking??? i mean comon. We understand it a short ride for you guys but what about us ny'rs and nj'rs. I could also understand the 15 dollar charge if their were other things avaiable, but it was just an open feild in the middle of nowhere.
So we were all kinda ticked about it so we started doing a couple donuts and what not, on their weed infested grass. If anything we did a cheap job of tilling up the soil. So yeah. Jared, Matt and i'm sorry i fogot your name ::driver of the 91 SEL:: got caught for doing donuts and what not. It was all in good humor

Listen guys, you drive how you drive, but expect the consequences when you get caught doing dumb things. Dont blame it on the meet organizer, if you dont like it, you put a meet together.
Lucky600: good job on organizing the meet, Im more interested in hearing about the route you had for the drive...

Me (Capri Blue C230SS) and DestroVR6 (with the Audi Q7) only paid $10.00 to get in. Anyway, it's true....it was a cheap, quick, and free tilling of the soil for them. Even though the meet didn't last too long, it's always nice to meet people and see some old friends again.
Hey, NY and NJ'ers, did the official cops show up or were the power rangers just flexing their little muscles? Did they nail you with any fines or anything?

It was fun and nice seeing all you guys...good group. The park rangers did all the punishment on their own, but they preserve the park, that's what they do...I'm not going to argue, I'll just pay the ticket. I wasn't going to do doughnuts, but I did one for fun, and unfortunately when my doughnut was complete, there was 3 cops standing in front of me. Again, it was nice meeting all you guys...hopefully we can have another meet in the near future...maybe a Long Island meet?
And Cinto the ticket was $103.

I'm glad you guys made the trip, sorry for the traffic but that's just 95. If you guys in NY or NJ had a meet, I would love to go, traffic or entrance fee won't matter to me. How can you say it was just an open field in the middle of nowhere? You were at a beach! I know I just met you guys and I would rather start out as friends but to say whoever picked a place with a $15 entrance to the meet should be hung?. Everyone at the meet has beautiful cars that many people wished they had. If paying 15 bucks is too steep, how do you afford the car you drive? I would never bash an event that anyone hosted and I went to, especially if most of my complaints were out of that persons control.

Oh ok, that's cool. Sorry about the Rangers, you all got tickets for $103? Is that on avg. your fuel bill is $100? Every fill up?(WOW) Why add 100 octain? Do you get much more HP? You guys missed a good run at the end, everyone took a trip through some back roads then back down 95(still had traffic) back to the park for one last chance at some photos and to talk to everyone before leaving. How late did the rangers hold you up?

Here are a couple of pics that Greg took..I will post more once I see what is in my camera. As we discussed yesterday, we need to find a place off 95 so the drive is more enjoyable for the folks coming from NY or RI. Some of us met at the top of route 9 and had a blast running down to the shore. Later we took a little conservative 20 mile loop on some country roads just after the rangers came riding in.

I was behind you Roy, the posted speed was 45mph check your speedometer
. Although I guess compared to the ride down Rt. 9, it was "conservative". I agree, if next time more people could meet at certain points, the meet would be much more ejoyable for them. I'll drive just about anywhere to meet up with a caravan of cars, honestly that's the real fun part!! the meet itself is just a reason to hang out and talk about the ride there. Also to meet new people and check out there rides. See everyone at the next meet.

I was very much looking forward to cruising...that's honestly my favorite part of a meet, when you have like 20 beautiful cars all driving together down a highway...but I understand if you guys didn't want to wait for us criminals haha. Anyone talk to the kid in the old S class by the way? He got busted as well.

But yeah, I was waiting forever for the convoy to start up and I wanted to be in the middle somewhere so I thought it would be best if I waited at the other end of the field. I didn't even intend to do a donut, just to pull out fast...its a diesel so that doesn't exactly happen. Any who I hit a soft spot in the grass so I just kept on with it Strange thing is after my 10 second run I waited at the other end of the field for what must have been a good 4 minutes. Cops claimed they saw us 
Anyone else notice the fellow in the station wagon wailing at us? The annoying thing is that I never do stuff like that, only in the winter in my offices parking lot. I have a clean driving record so I'm just going to pay it and bury this little incident. Talk about bad timing

Sounded like a good time. Too bad about the doughnuts. You really have to resist the temptation to show off at these meets. We know our cars are fast...no need to broadcast it out there. LOL
$15 isn't all that bad. It cost $10 to get into the fair this weekend. LOL

You should have let me know that you were going to go solo again. We could have work things out, like you can come up my place first or I can guild you some other rounts.... I was expecting to ride with you again tho! See you next meet then I guess.

are you kidding me? $15 and you complain? Out of my pocket for the Newport meet was like $150 give or take(not including the $110 in gas for both cars)

We had a really local person who REALLY know how to drive well had the led.

I have some greek FOB uncles who used those excuses with police back in the day, lol... they would be HAMMERING it all the time, they would get pulled over... I no speak the english

From last RI meet, I just saw one thing that I couldn't understand at all. one person, two grils, and about 30 people waitting hot dogs or burgers on the side. Whe I brought up the hot dogs and buns, people were pretty much fighting for it. What was that about?
People should really think about what have you done for other people before you ask for favor.

i see s500 AMGs a lot, so it isnt as funny... i think some of the dealers put em on for the ones with the Amg sport packages
