Shee-at. I just saw this thread after not being very active on this board and was thinking I'd go. Then remembered the weather's supposed to be cruddy this weekend... then read form the beginning and saw it's SATURDAY ... then saw also its in Queens. hehehe. Me and the 5 boroughs don't get along; they keep destroying my rims!

Dude.... how 'bout instead a trip to Germany with our cars from the US to visit the 'Ring? If you drive it to a DAS Center, well under $1500 fully insured (well, your insurance would be more) by ship each way to England or Germany; base no Insurance is under $1000. I'm researching if our US vehicles would be allowed in the Euro Union.

Na, the mechanic is Jeff and he's in Freeport Long Island. The guy in Astoria is John, jstrat85. Insanely modded C220 turbo.

Actually as you're a man of travel, you ever been to Cozy Soup and Burger on B'way below 8th st near NYU when here?... best Split Pea soup there is... They may have a place in Astoria too ( I dont remember )
