Jones Beach FIELD 4 BACK LEFT CORNER
I will be greeting everyone at the entrance to the lot, and I will be handing out color maps/directions and other information to those who are interested.
After most people arrive I want to walk around and meet everyone and we can come up with ideas on how to make this cruise more interesting. I would also like to take pictures of the whole crew going before we leave. I also need to get a count of how many people showed up and what car they came in.
At around 8:25AM we should get packing and loading into the cars... at 8:30AM I want to LEAVE Jones Beach and start our trip to Montauk...
Here are the step-by-step directions. We have revised the route to include a twisty newly paved road called Mill Road in the middle of the woods where people can get a chance to catch some speed/twisties.

Hey guys I am just trying to gauge some interest in a caravan down to Jones Beach on Sunday (the meeting spot from the 100 mile long island run to Montauk) Original thread here: http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/s...d.php?t=129913
I am not sure where the people that signed up are located, but I would like to set it up so that people could meet somewhere in lower Westchester, maybe the Mobil Station on the Hutch and could drive down together.

Loaner cars welcome?
Would you believe it? My CL600 has been in the shop for almost two weeks now undergoing evaluation for a misfire. Just got the call today that it's been successfully diagnosed and repair has been authorized by my warranty company (gotta love it!). So I've got this C280 I've been driving around saving me a few miles per gallon in gas. It would make the drive out there a bit cheaper, but not as... spirited?
