Houston Raceway Park Track Rental Sat. January 24th 2009
I am putting together a track day (drag strip) at Houston Raceway Park on Saturday January 24th. Cost will be $350.00 per car, this is the best rate the track will give me, that is actual cost per vehicle quoted by the track, I am not trying to make any money on this event. If I can negotiate a better rate I will let everyone know, but for now it's looking like this will be the best price. Thanks to another member HOUSCLASS who was able to secure both lanes for us to play on, initially track managment was only offering me one lane.
Place: Houston Raceway Park Baytown, TX
Time: 10:00am-5:00pm (gates open at 9:00am)
Cost: $350.00 Per Vehicle (Pay At Gate Day Of Event)
Requirements: Snell 2005 Helmet
Please let me know if you plan on attending, track official will need an approximate head count 1 week prior to event.

I plan on attending. I hope to bring a friend who will want to drive my car throughout the day as well. Will that be an issue? Will it just be $350 for the both of us since we'll be driving the one car or will they want it for each driver? Some dragstips, like Texas Motorplex, like to charge per driver.
