GMP Thawout & Track Day 2009!!!!!!!! 5/2 and 5x3
Saturday, May 2nd 2009 will be THAWOUT. This is our open house get together event that we invite vendors, clients, friends and family. The event begins at 10am and ends at 3pm.
THAWOUT is a spring event weekend with a show and open house on Saturday and trackday on Sunday that gives everyone a chance to clean-up and show-off their cars after the winter.
For Saturday's event, vehicles will be parked by Make (Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes, Porsche, Volvo, VW and Various) and people's choice awards will be presented to crowd favorite in each make. This is a casual format and everyone who is registered for THAWOUT will be eligible to be voted on.
Registration is open for the show and closes April 17th, 2009. Registration includes a voter ballot, goodie bag with sponsor coupons, lunch ticket, event T-Shirt and a raffle ticket for items and services donated by vendors. Please state your shirt size when ordering.
The event is free to attend and all ages are welcome. Participants can register the day of the show and registration includes a voter ballot, lunch and raffle ticket.
The event is held at GMP Performance at 710 Pressley Pressley Road.

Hope everyone is well. We are all busy here getting ready for the show Saturday and the track on Sunday. The show Saturday is from 10am to 2pm and we will announce people's choice awards and the raffle winners following the show. I want to spotlight a few things at this years THAWOUT.
Chris is the eastern sales rep from Brembo's Race Technologies will be attending the event on Saturday. Stop by and pick his brain.
Tim from BF Goodrich is coming up with a display and a gift certificate for a FREE set of BFG GForce tires.
APR (Audi Performance Racing) aka the boys from 'bama, are giving away a $1,000 gift certificate towards any ECU upgrade. That buys you a completely loaded VW, Audi or Porsche(normally aspirated) ECU and takes a big chunk out of the cost of a Porsche Turbo ECU. We will also have chip specials all day. Buy a single program and get the second one free. Buy the first and second program and get the fully loaded ECU. Win the raffle prize and its all free!!!!!
PPI-USA is located in Texas. They are making the trek over to the east coast and bringing their silver R8 and blue Q7 to display Saturday and to track with us on Sunday. Haven't heard of PPI, Click here to check them out
Carbonio is giving away a carbon fiber intake system to one lucky winner. This is for a piped system like on the VW and BMW cars but its a nice piece and people will do some trading.
A Sprint Booster throttle upgrade unit is up for grabs in the raffle. Don't know about this thing yet? Click here for details.
Koni has given us a set of STR.T shocks to raffle off.
StopTech has a set of front and rear stainless steel brake lines up for grabs.
Auto Magicians dent repair will be on site with specials, AND there is a $150 voucher in the raffle!
SuperCar Sensation has a free tour in the raffle. Check their Lambo out on Saturday.
Steve will have Zaino detailing products on hand along with deals on 3M film and race ramps.
BBS, speedART, RH, Fabspeed and UUC Motorwerks all have %%% or $$$ off gift certificates.
We are going to raffle off some a couple items ourselves.
So bring yourself, some friends, some euro cars and enjoy a day at the shop and walk away with some prizes.
