What he is saying (I speak a little Polish) is that he is so old, he would need a full day to recoup from drinking,, thus a Sunday gig affects his work performance on Monday.

If that's the case, then I should probably take his keys at the meet.

BLKCLK550 got it exactly right.
Saturdays are perfect for such a nice gig, leaving Sunday to recuperate.
Fridays are even better, leaving ....Sunday to recuperate, hehe.

Mr B. is right. I'm 99 turning hundred soon, so give me some slack here

Yeah some of us older guys dont recoop as quickly as we used to. When I was 40, I was dating a 22 yr old who gave me a t shirt that read "OLD AGE IS NOT FOR SISSIES" When you get up there you'll know what I'm talking about. So who's bringing what. The sausages didnt go over too big last time cause we ran outta charcoal. I'll bring cold cuts, cheese, bread and beer

I'll bring all of the charcoal, plates, forks, knives, of course, the miracle whip, some burgers, and buns.

Will make sure to buy what I think is too much charcoal, just in case. I wouldn't want to offend John with too little again.

I've been looking forward to this since I blew it last fall. Count me in!

Tommy, let me know where you stand with supplies and pony up for something. And I can pretty much guarantee that I'm going to get lost.

You can never go wrong by bringing a few pounds of King Crab legs.

Will do - we can get a more serious list early next week.

We're gonna have marinate Ex's dog at least a day before the bbq to make the meat tender.

Note to everyone: if it says "sealegs" in the crab salad, the sh*t ain't real crab.

EDIT: Rick, what happened to the "users browsing this thread" identifier at the bottom of the page? Is IB that tight with money?

OK, since it's now less than a week til D-Day, it would be good to start the list up. I'll be bringing what I said up above, please add by your name what you'll be bringing. What we need would be burgers, buns, hot dogs, hot dog buns, sausage, condiments, chips, nachos, etc., non-alcoholic beverages, other beverages not to be named directly ("alcohol-free" park, but what happens in Roosevelt Park...), ice, beluga caviar, potato salad, macaroni salad, and whatever you want to bring that is not awful (ie, Chucky's seafood salad from several meets ago).

Lenin - I will have my replacement MFD with me, ready to do the install. I've got the cluster removal tools (AKA, the MB **** probes), so hopefully will be able to pop in the new one without too much drama - I removed the "new" MFD pretty easily, so it should not be a problem to swap out.

Hope to see everyone there in a week.

If anyone is really afraid of getting lost, PM me, and I can send you my cell# just in case - I'll either help you our put you on speaker and we'll all laugh at how lost you are.

My chain saw is shut but I have all kinds of other tools too. Should I bring any? I'll also print whatever instructions I can find in the WIS.

Pick something listed or something you think the list is missing, and bring it.

And yes, it's still at Roosevelt Park in Edison; directions / map are on this thread.
