As some of you know, HRE started as a racing equipment company back in the 1970’s, and in the course of our custom wheel manufacturing for tuners and racing operations, we’ve been involved with some pretty incredible performance achievements.
Grassroots Motorsports is holding the 2010 Pirelli Ultimate Track Car Challenge (UTCC) at Virginia International Raceway on July 23rd. HRE has stepped up as the Official Race Wheel Partner of UTCC, and thrown down the performance challenge with the most aggressive performance contingency sponsorship in the history of this event. For those unfamiliar with contingency programs, here’s how it works: If you compete on the sponsor’s product and perform well, the sponsor rewards you. In this case, the contingency prize purse we’ve put up for grabs is serious...
Cash contingency prizes for winners on HRE Wheels: $2500 for overall winner, $1000 for each of the 3 other category winners.

Great concept and promotion! 
The cash contingency prizes for winners seems like a decent amount which is just enough for new tires. I especially like the offering of special racer discount pricing just for signing-up and entering the event.
This HRE performance challenge sounds like fun!

The phone number in the original post has an “800” phone number, but it’s actually “888”.

Heard that Sharif of Forged Performance will be using a set of HRE's on their Nissan GT-R.
That car is brutally fast (I've seen him break 2 mins. at VIR). Should be fun to watch!
