Quote: Ideas on location??? The nice thing about Busse woods is that there is place for parking, no one gets kicked out and plus we can setup a nice BBQ out there. It is right near 53 and 90 so easy to get to from all directions.
Hey do any one know of a spot in Springfield, IL or Bloomington, IL to meet at..

Dont know the area. Maybe we can do this one out here and the next one we can do by that area and get a caravan to go out that way.

9 People already coming and this is the first day of the thread. I hope we can get at least 50 MBs to come and join this event and meet some faces of the forums.

I also invited some of the BMW guys of BimmerFest I will get a seperate list for them and see how many of those guys can come. Maybe later on in the summer we can do a Shootout of MB vs BMW at a local track.

I'm guessing anything German is ok. As long as Honda Civics dont start coming along with a bunch of Mitsu Evos.

Quote: Bussie woods about 10 yrs ago was complete madness lot of drama and good times as well i havent been up there for about 10 yrs my self although i live around the corner from there other then the occasional family picnic one in a blue moon. I think it would be a good time if we can get a good size group to go.
Thats about the last time I was there I would love to join although I only have my wheels on now and will not be able to get anything else done by then.

Obviously BBQ we could all meet up there run a list together everybody chip in a few bucks on getting things as far as food, drinks, etc there is a local grocery store bout a 1 mile away.

Option 2 every body bring something with and split up what to bring with who ever is coming?

Option 3 no body brings anything and we go somewhere to eat and drink ?

i dunno just a few thoughts
