Is anyone coming from the Naperville area? Naperville, Aurora, Plainfield, Oswego? If so maybe we can have a meeting place somewhere along Rt. 59 maybe near 59 and I-88 and caravan up to Schaumburg together. There's a Starbucks about a 1/4 mile south off 88 on east hand side of 59, this might be a good spot for anyone coming from far west burbs.

Good point. Rain would serioulsy ruin the whole event, about meet and greet and being out side, crusing, etc...

My car is nearly undrivable in the rain, TC is on more than off so if it rains I'm out.

I don't have any definate plans for a meeting time, I was just tossing the idea out there for anyone coming from far west burbs. If we meet there it should probably be around 9ish, Busse is probably only 25-30 minutes from that Starbucks location.

If you are coming from Chicago going all the way to Naperville is going to take you several miles west of your final destination but thats your call. Let me know.

So what is the deal?

There is a world cup game at 9am (England vs Germany) and then F1 is at 11am. Is this still supposed to start at 10am? Is it just a GTG/cruise or is there any agenda?

This is still going on at 10AM on Sunday. If weather shows bad for sunday on Sat afternoon I will post up a new date. From what I can see now we should be ok, so Sunday at 10 AM its on. As far as what we will do is all up to us, So far the for sure thing is the meet and later we can plan a crusie out North.

as it looks now we might as well do it in a weekday, how many weekends did it rain so far? Next 4th of July weekend shows rain as well. Sunny all week, sucks... what can you do...

OK guys from what it looks like now, we will have to put the meet off for another day. SO OFFICIALY the MEET IS NOT GOING ON TOMM DUE TO WEATHER.

HERE ARE A FEW OPTIONS

1. WEEKDAY
2. THE WEEKEND AFTER 4th OF JULY WEEKEND
3. THE MEET STILL ON TOMM SOMEWHERE FURTHER AWAY WHERE THERE IS NO RAIN.

i'm not gunna lie here, i'm kinda glad it's getting put off for a while. my swap is calling for a bunch for me to custom fab a few parts and it's taking me longer than i thought.... so.... woohoo!

I hope that none of the people on the list headed out to the GTG today. Due to the rain we had to cancel to what could have been one of the biggest Chicago Area MB GTG yet. I will be looking closely at the weather and again plan for a new Date. However making this a good turnout again I will need to give at least 2 weeks notice on the new Date along with another Sunday on the days of the week.

I will be posting on here soon about the exact day soon. I hope all the people go on the list again we can make this event even larger.

Thanks to all for keeping up with this, I will start planning something nice right away.
