Looks like the HRE sponsored GT-R finished up in 4th place at the Ultimate Track Car challenge yesterday. Still a VERY fast time, particularly given temps of 100 degrees.
I have met the guy who finished in 8th place and I know he drives a full-on race prepped Ferrari.
Curious to know what the top 3 cars were.

It was a great time, but it was VERY hot. The heat was one thing, but the humidity was out of control. I met your buddy with the Ferrari. Very nice car.

Overall I believe Sharif was fourth. 2nd in his class.

On Saturday at the NASA race, the heat was worse and it was definitely taking its toll on the cars.

I must say VIR is a very impressive facility. It would be so nice to have something in So Cal like VIR.
