I remember when we used to go to Tiajuana's bar here in Irvine and the owner said if we just show up and claim "we just showed up on our own" that the police cant remove us. Private partrons that all showed up at once!!!!!!

I just realized this event is the same day of the NCAA Basketball Regionals at the Honda Center and I have tickets in the suite box- I might not make it

 

I remember those days. The last one we had was what? 2008 maybe? 2007? Damn it's been a while.

i think well be fine there, ive been there on a sat with some coworkers and that whole center and parking area is pretty dead on the weekend.

 

I was there 2 Saturdays ago and it was pretty empty. A few people eating at Hooters and a few cars there for Big 5, but still plenty of parking...

Actually probably closer to 100, there are 5 or 6 guys in the Black Series section that are planning on attending who have not yet added there names to the list, looks like 7 Black Series and an SLR, heading out of evosport and caravaning to the event.

...I heard that there's a Lewis Hamilton MR4-25 McLaren-Mercedes F1 car sitting somewhere in OC at this very second, It's going to be on display somewhere at California Speedway for the NASCAR race at California Speedway on March 27 to promote some event where Tony Stewart and Lewis Hamilton are going to swap rides and run laps at Watkins Glen...U should try to get that MB at this event LOL.

 

Too bad I have to head the Glendale/LA caravan. I would have totally rolled down with you guys. I think we would have so much fun on the way to the get together!

You really want a speeding ticket that badly? I have a feeling the ride is gonna get ugly(in a good way), a testosterone and HP fueled caravan with the slowest car making over 500hp ...I'm almost praying for bumper to bumper traffic on the 405 so nobody is tempted to drop the hammer. I get off probation March 23rd, I want to stay off probation for a little while at least.

 

Almost positve there's going to be some mexico runs during these caravans... It's almost inevitable.

 

i'm game for high speed. I will have my Bermuda/Canadian/American driver's licence with me. Was stopped b4 and gave my Bermuda licence. They looked at it funny and let me go...

 

I most definetly want to try to top out the BS with the new SC...210mph? 220mph? however I don't think the 405 on a Saturday afternoon is the place to try it. If you guys have any ideas in mind for places to try some Mexico runs I'm game

I also want to do a roll on with a stock or close to stock BS just out of curiosity to see how different the two are.

 

It will be interesting to see the difference between the two SC cars...

 

There should not be too much difference, our cars are modded very similarly, whatever I do pull on you (if any) will be a result of my heads and cams...unless you're doing the same and not mentioning it fess up now if you are

 

Doubt it, not from the Glendale team- the 5 is just too crowded these days.


Jim, the Mexican Toll Road is where its at--- you will need a spotter though IMO.
