Come out to our annual New Members Party and meet the new Club members and find out what your Club is all about.

April 30 - May 1: MBCA National Event
2011 Star Tech in Milwaukee, WI.
Hosted by the Wisconsin Section. Professional technical seminars on maintenance, repair, and restoration. Cars on lifts w/ the experts and more.

May 1: MBCA Central Ohio Section Event
Autocross at Ohio State University in Columbus, OH.
Learn to be a better driver and/or enjoy the competition.

May 21-24: MBCA National Event
2011 Gemutlichkeit in Mansfield, OH.
The name “Gemutlichkeit” may be roughly translated from German as “good times with friends”. This event provides exactly that, featuring 4 days of social activities, autocross and track time at Mid-Ohio, a Mercedes-Benz Concours d' Elegance, a road rally, local tours, and more.

June 26: MBCA Central Ohio Section Event
Infield Car Corral at Mid-Ohio Vintage Grand, Lexington, OH.
Park inside the track with the Club and enjoy the vintage races.

July 23-26: MBCA National Event
Star Track in Pittsburg, PA.
MBCA Car Show, banquets, enjoy the vintage racing, and MBCA member track time at BeverRun Motorsports Park.

July 30, 31: MBCA Regional Event
Defensive Driving, Autocross, and Car Show in Plymouth, MI.
Sat. driving events, Sun. fun car show plus Concours d' Elegance of America.

Aug 13: MBCA Regional Event
Defensive Driving School and Autocross in Columbus, OH.
Learn to be a better driver and/or enjoy the competition. Hoping to add a fun car show and/or technical seminars on repair & maintence.

Aug 21-25: MBCA National Event
2011 Star Trails in Ouray, CO.
Targeted at ML, GL, and G Class, but all MB’s are welcome! Novice to intermediate trail rides, spa visits, and evenings out.

Sept. 18: MBCA Central Ohio Section Event
10th Annual All German Car Show in Columbus, OH.
All German car brands welcome. Clean car contest, raffel, proceeds benefit Pilot Dogs. Held in conjuction with Germania Club's annual Oktoberfest.

Sept. 24-30: MBCA National Event
2011 Lake Huron Mille Driving Tour starting in St Claire, MI.
This promises to be a wonderful week long trip around Lake Huron, through Ontario and Michigan, for those who can get away! Great scenery, fun stops, nice places to stay.

Oct. 9: MBCA Central Ohio Section Event
Autocross at Ohio State University in Columbus, OH.
Learn to be a better driver and/or enjoy the competition.

Dec., 2011: MBCA Central Ohio Event
Holiday Party in Columbus, OH.

On Saturday, February 27 over thirty Central Ohio Section members attended the MBCA New Member Party, of which 6 were new members (plus their spouses). We even had a couple come up from Parkersburg, WV. The party was very fun, with everyone meeting the new members and catching up with old friends. Lots of laughter, hand shakes and hugs. The conversations were extremely varied, with people talking about families, the economy, the political upheaval in the Middle East, and hobbies such as flying, bicycling, picture framing, golfing, videography, and of course, Mercedes-Benz cars! Some business cards were even traded, so we can now add business networking to the list of Club membership benefits. The food everyone brought was delicious and appreciated by all, as there were little left-overs. The last guests departed around 11:00 PM, so it was a fully enjoyable evening. It was a great start to our events in 2011.
