EDIT- This event is open to all makes and models, Benz or otherwise, so if you know of a friend, let them know!

I am entering my stock 02 C-Coupe, however this event has open mods allowed.

40 Views... not bad...

Anyone planning on going? Anyone have any questions? Come on people, no more bench racing, or variable ridden kill stories, you actually get to drive a course!

Nuk - I should be there, but in the crx. It'll be great to watch someone take a ccoupe out on the course, and see how it does.

Might want to think about joining, if you haven't already. You get a free year of GRM, and it only takes a couple of events to recoup your fee.

Hey, thanks.

Are these people with Benzes, or other cars?

The M Club does a great job with the events, and you get cars from everywhere, so no BMW snobbery at all, which is a good thing.

So far they all people from this board with mbs, I don't want to call them out but you know 2 out of the other three.

I decided to ask for advice on The GRM Board for newbies. I've never done a pylon course the advice is for me too. The are three good responses right now. I only posted last night.

I have two other friends I am trying to get to go, both are M3s, one e36 and one e46.

Here is the link the Northeast Region Solo II events.

After the M Club event, I'll make a new thread for the following weekends event I am going to. Any preference for you? There is also the Conn. Contours car show I want to go to the following weekend. And my brother's birthday. I need to figure out which is more important .

SL - just to warn you - they start these things on time, so don't be late for once. But, they don't serve meals, so your pattern of not bringing food to events can certainly continue. :p

Real question for you: do you have headlight protection for your beautiful bi-xenons? Reason: autoxing throws lots of stones, so I wouldn't want you to ruin those babies. If not, you can buy just the headlight portions from stongard, if you didn't want to buy a whole kit.

Think we can get BenzE to show up?

I managed to forget who BenzE is... ?

Just a thought/ question though what's going to be throwing stones and hitting hit headlights?

Why me, of course! :p

They don't do a great job of clearing out the gravel. And in SL's case, it would be entirely possible for him to kick up stones onto his own headlights, since he'll probably be doing 360s when trying to negotiate the slaloms.

I'll probably get there at 8-8:30.

We should do the changing cars thing - maybe during fun runs at the end?

But, if it seems like it's definitely going to rain, I'm not sure that I'll be going. Can't mess with the 'do!

Nuk - I'm not going to make it tomorrow - looks like it's definitely going to rain, so I'll be in PA eating free food instead.

Hopefully, the weather will be better at the next one, and we'll be able to each other's cars.

Well... errr, ummm just to clarify, tomorrow is the 24th, the event is on the 25th!, Sunday son, I said SUNDAY.

You staying in PA the whole weekend? From what I can tell so far, it is going to be raining tomorrow the 24th, but the 25th is supposed to be ok???

Either way, there are few events to choose from the following weekend, I'll email you the options to see if you are down..

I will also post the options in E&G or Motorsports?? Not sure where more people will see it?

Could those going please post, might get more people to go if they know they won't be subjected to my stupidity alone!

Good thing that I didn't stick around tonight, and drive over there tomorrow then, huh?

Don't think that I can rationalize driving back up here for the autox, but you never know.

What the hell. If (1) I get my car back (I'm lending my car out Saturday) and (2) I can get my sorry *** out of bed, I'll show up.

No way I'm bringing Mom's car. She'd get pissed if something were to happen to it.

Holy *****, you killed Kenny!

Ok, well you didn't, but the screw in my tire did.

Auto X at Giants stadium plans destroyed, by a hate crime committing, ghey, hairy, stupid mongolian who keeps blowing up my *****ty wall...

Woke up this morning after prepping the car last night, and left rear tire is flat. Car is in the garage, flat, sad, depressed, ashamed.

Going to go meet a friend to patch it at his shop now. Sucks.
