We have started a new thread, as the last one was getting a little stale, and we wish to keep our meets fresh and vibrant.

DC/Maryland/VA comprise the (DMV), we are looking at having another meet in Largo, MD since our last meet went so well.

The dates that were proposed is Aug 20th, 27th and Sept 3rd.
We are leaning towards Aug 20th, as of right now.

Ugh. Found out I have to (aka really encouraged to) work the 20th. Is this a definite date yet? (I have a feeling it isn't).

If the decision is made for either the 20th, or 27th, I'm down. But I was planning the 20th personally, but majority rules in this case. It's your call as the host or sponsor. But if it gets pushed to the 27th, I might head over to Cars & Coffee, in Great Falls on the 20th

Nope, 20th would be the best day for me, but apparently due to the lack of responses for this thread, I doubt there'll be enough people to make having a meet worthwhile for that date. Next available date for me isn't until October. September 24-25th is H2Oi in OCMD if we can get some people to go to that.

August is pretty much a wash for me...but if you put something together in September I should be able to make it.

I think that you should PM everyone, or at least send out a bulk email, letting everyone know the date. You will not be able to please everyone, but that's okay, as new members will show up. The bottom line is this, the more gatherings we hold, the more discussion on the forums these events generate, the more photo that are posted the better.
It's all about exposure, the more the exposure we generate, the more our gatherings will gorw. It would be nice to see 50 AMG's, out in the parking lot. Can you imagine that Just my two cents

As far as I know we are still on. I will check with AMG Sleeper, to verify, and post something tomorrow.

I'm still down, but based on responses we're looking at only 7 confirmed, and the weather forecast is scattered thunderstorms each of the next 4 days...

I'm happy to be there and host (maybe 11:30 would be better, like last time), but I'd like to hear what you all want to do...

I"m still down and I can bring with CLK 55 Kleeman, C63, and 500E, possibly 190E 16V.

Please let me know if we are still on. Scattered t-storms usually means late afternoon storms in the summer, I'm thinking we should be okay with a morning meet, it'll be nice and cool hopefully if it's partly cloudy.

The SL that you referred to as a SL65 Black Series, was actually a SL55 that Danny added a wide body kit. It could look like a Black Series, but on closer inspection, you would realize that it wasn't. Still has killer looks thou.
