Caddy V Series Event at Monticello Motor Club (NY)
Anyone else get an offer to do this? Sounds like a half-day of some good fun, and $1500 less than an AMG event. Hopefully they'll have a coupe with a stick, but I'm doubtful, unfortunately.
I got mine through my Super Street subscription (who knew that would be worth anything); it's invitation only.
I'll be up there on July 30th, the PM session.

That was great yesterday; had a ton of fun putting the V series cars through Monticello. They had the coupe and the hearse; couldn't tell one from the other on the track, except for the ginormous c pillar blind spot in the coupe.
They're way too expensive/heavy/big/guidorific for me, but it sure was fun sloshing them. If you get the chance to do either a similar event at Monticello or a V series event somewhere else, I'd recommend it. Was really cool. Bring your helmet, though - the provided ones were nasty, and I was glad to have my own eggshell with me.
