SoCal - Day Rally & Drive In Movie
Posting this for a friend. 
The Run Rally’s next summer event is here! We are teaming up with AMU and the Electric Dusk Drive In to bring you a drive in car & movie meet all in one! Add a mini scavenger hunt rally before the movie and you’ve got a great day of car and film action. Come for one, two, or all three portions of the event! Whatever you do, you don’t want to miss a drive in movie like this…
WHEN: August 16th (SEE DAYS AGENDA & INFO BELOW)
$40 per vehicle will help us secure the 50 space drive in lot just for the Run Rally. There is no passenger limit and you can bring food and drinks in! The $40 pass also gets you access to the optional day cruise and scavenger rally earlier in the day! With movie & popcorn prices today, I think it is safe to assume that this is a great deal, especially for those sedans.

The Cruise
Where: Neptune’s Net
When: (4pm- 6pm)
What: Late Lunch and Cruise (Lunch is not covered)
Miles Est: 30 miles
This is a chance to grab lunch at the iconic fish shack that Brian O’Conner and Toretto have their memorable conversation before race wars. After lunch we will get some rolling photo opportunities followed by a drive up the snake. (Mulholland Hwy)

The Rally
Where: Mulholland Hwy & Freedom Dr.
When: (6pm-8:30)
What: Gimmick Rally
Miles: 20 miles
Now it’s time to get competitive. All cars will be broken into competitive crews. Crews will be tasked with driving to as many Shoot locations (all within a 10 mile radius) from the original F&F movie within 2hours and will have to collect items or take a photo to prove they were there. Once they complete these tasks or run out of time, each car will report to the finish location.

The Drive In Movie
Where: Electric Dusk Drive in Down Town Los Angeles
When: 8:30pm to 11:30pm
(rally debrief, declare winner, film starts at 10pm)
What: Drive In Movie (The Fast and the Furious) 2002 105min
Miles: 0
Now it’s time to kick back either in your own car or on astro-turf, snack, drink, and enjoy a tribute to Paul Walker and to one of the most influential car films of this generation. Enjoy spotting the very locations you were just at earlier in the day. You are welcome to bring food, beverages, and blankets into the lot. There is no limit to the number of people who can attend as long as they fit in your car.
FEE: $40 per car (we can reserve the drive in once we have 40 reservations)
Only 50 car spaces available!
(Make sure to stock up on movie snacks before the drive in checkpoint and bring a blanket if you plan to watch the movie from the astro-turf)
