Anyone interested in getting behind the wheel of the new SLK350? The San Francisco Bay Area SLK Club will be meeting at RAB Motors in San Rafael for a breakfast and test drive of the new SLK350. There will also be a master tech to discuss the care and maintenance of the current R170s. We will then drive to Tiburon for lunch. Come join us and meet other SLK owners. The date is Spetember 18 at 10:30am.

Come join us. It is open to all...even non-SLKers.
No. Fearful of the ever-diligent mod cops at SF MB I decided that I did not want to get hassled for any warranty work or potential coverage issues. I did install a Brabus steering wheel, OEM in-dash CD stereo, and Designo wood trim--I figured this stuff shouldn't matter to them as much. Maybe when the warranty expires I may go for the chip, pulley, SL55 Y-pipe, and resonator removal (even that was being scrutinized when I was just considering it =( ). How is yours running?

Ah, ic...im surprised they gave you so much hassle. My dealer has been pretty cool about it. My has been running pretty well, no complaints. I'm waiting for the new intercooler and ignition set from evosport.
No, unfortunately there is no specific test track but there is a great windy road just behind the dealership. Would love to check out your car then.
