The Ritz has a shuttle golf cart looking thing to take you to the Ritz that seats about 10 although it's for the truly lazy as it's just across a very small street.

For the sake of making is "easier" for your lunch to digest; and to feel when I was on my 20s, I just fuel more wood to the fire mix... so here I go:
-My backyard is nicer than the Rosebowl, for that matter my theater room is nicer than a parking lot.
-Rosebowl Location was chosen based on LOCATION, not how cool it is.
-I will agree with you, the Laguna site is nicer.. again, so its my HOUSE.
-Why dont we all meet in Zurich... or Affalterbach???... (I'll be there in a month ) hey, they have nice sunsets too... I think I went a lil bit overboard on the sarcasm there...
-Mainly/Originally, MB enthusiasts met to show and see other's enthusiast's cars... not to see the sorrounding environments.
As I mentioned before, should everyone decide to meet in Laguna, I really wish you all well on the Laguna meet. I just won't be able to make it that far this time. Though the votes could go on until the actual meeting day on the 23rd and yup, the voting can be tampered with so you get the results you want, etc, I think you all wnat to meet in Laguna, then make it so and watch the nice sunset and so forth. For about 10+ yrs my house had an entire beach on my backyard... so after spending that much time by the beach, the smell of salt water, corrosion, sand everywhere, those memories don't really ring a bell for me ... however, and still, THAT is NOT the reason why I am unable to attend to Laguna... I am ONE person... one crow that is...
I can always look at your pics of the meet .
Cheers!

The Rosebowl is really not the center of So Cal despite it being the center of Weiderman's universe. How many people actually live north of Pasadena vs. San Diego?
If you take the high population density bounderies of So Cal (not counting Santa Barabara), Salt Creek is 62 miles from Pasadena (if that's a fair northern boundery) and 70 miles from San Diego (if that's a fair southern boundery) and 51 miles from Riverside (if that's a fair eastern boundery).

sounds fair enough so far. well probably get the ventura and santa barbara people speaking up. how many people are serious about attending? maybe we should start a list like we did for the last meet.
shall we start a new thread or just start it here. there are already 2 threads regarding this meet, so i dont want to start to many.

You actually need 2 lists, one for those that can/would go to Salt Creek (in the city of Dana Point actually) and the Rose Bowl.

SoCal MB Meet Oct 23rd @ my back yard.. or better yet... what about the my private park??? (I actually do have a private park in my compound...lol... though well kept.. due to the wild life behind the my community, rattle snakes, and all other creatures (inlcuding myself) are often seen wondering around... )
I should just keep quiet from now on, I have Mr. Buellwinkle turning colors...

Wiederman, you have the faster car so you can get to anyplace in So Cal in just minutes. It takes me hours in my put-put C230K.
Sorry, the only wildlife at the beach are those in the "Girls Gone Wild" videos.

I had already voted on the Poll, and you as the creator of the thread can see the results and tally who voted on what, thus, I don't think I need to to it twice .

Its not the "power" or the "year make"... it is "the mileage"... that is what I friend of mine used to say when girls used to tell him that he looked so young... .
As I mentioned before, unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to Laguna this time at least.
Nobody has yet claimed or taken the tourch to say "I'll be resposible for the picture taking"... so I can only hope someone will...
Cheers!

first of all, I just want to say, that don't pick a location on account of me coming up from SAN DIEGO. If it's in OREGON, I will still drive the distance.
Also, be aware, that I will probably be the ONLY one coming from S.D. Everyone else down here just doesn't seem to care to drive distances, or at least they just don't speak up.
I second that motion !
speaking of nice views, Zurich is awesome ! I love it there ! I would live there if I could afford it. A BigMac meal at micky's will run you $10-$15
Affalterbach.... that's like going to Mecca ! Mr. W, can i be your baggage handler for that trip ? I wanna go !!! oohh pick me, pick me !
You know me, I'll go anywhere with my Benz
Hey, as long as there is a DINER with Girls on rollerskates (or something equivalent) nearby, I'm game !!

ok, from Santa Barbara & from San Diego,
that leaves everyone in between with very little excuse (except personal stuff, you know).
