THIS JUST IN..... The 2006 E55 will come with your choice of Pratt and Whitney F119 35,000 lb thrust motor or 493 hp MB engine (same as 2005 engine). There will be an additional cost for the Pratt motor.

Can someone PM me with the final decision on the location? If its at an airstrip I'm there. I've been waiting to drive this car on a runway since the warm day in June that it arrived.

We've always got room for free on couches at my fraternity house. I'm not sure exactly where the GTG will be but I'm smack dab in the middle of ATL so it can't be too far away. And Friday the 29th is the last friday before finals so we'll be having a good time that night.

Also, I'll probably come spend the night at the selected hotel with you and we can find a place for a nice dinner Friday night (steaks, martinis?). I live about 45 minutes away and don't want to be boozing and driving
BTW, spouses and SO's are welcome too.....don't blow off the event just cause you think they have to stay home.

This event promises to be *THE* AMG-specific event of the year (privately organized). We expect a huge turnout and will likely expand the event to the whole weekend, pending other details and confirmations.
Friday, April 29th
At this point, we will welcome folks in from out-of-town Friday evening with a dinner (probably steaks, etc.) We are in the process of selecting a suitable/reasonable hotel for folks to stay.
Saturday, April 30th
Main Event: Three parts to the day (one will be the photo shoot and the others are pending confirmation details). We have invited a special guest to join us.
Sunday, May 1st
*Possible track day* - 1/4 mile drags (still working on this, but with good participation, this will likely be a "go").
Bring your spouse or SO...make a weekender/mini vacation out of this!
If you plan on attending, post on this thread. There is ZERO cost (for registration) to participate! As the plans fall into place, we will be updating with the details.

:p !!! If it's really all AMG then that would be something but i'm pretty positive you guys will have a mix of non AMG as well. But then again who knows right Chappy? you guys might even have some
