Extended Warranty or Not?
Hello everyone. I just bought a 2012 E350 4Matic Coupe with 5K miles, and 5 months left on the original manufacture's warranty. I checked the records on the car, and it looks like the previous owner took the car in time for all the scheduled maintenance. I don't see any warranty work done, just regular service. This car is a one owner, and came off a lease. This gives me peace of mind in that it appears this car has not been a problem child. What I'm debating with is; do I buy an extended warranty to cover me through lets say 100K miles? What has been your experience? I'd like to hear from you on your experiences.
My concern with extended warranties is that they often find a way to to not cover the repair. These warranties are not cheap, and a consideration to self insure has crossed my mind.
Thank you. I look forward to your thoughts.

Was just inquiring at another forum about this sounds like CarMax and Fidelity fairly well accepted.
22k in repairs
3k is a steal for 4 yrs worth or repairs on an E55 less than a Chevy!
