2012 S63 AMG
Extended Warranty Exclusions & ABC

I'm looking at an Extended warranty for an S63 AMG.

One of the area of concern seems to be the ABC suspension. I have read in the exclusions of most extended warranties that "Shock Absorbers" are not covered.

My question is whether components of the ABC suspension are typically excluded from these warranties? i.e. accumulators and other ABC components.

I'm wondering how specific the term "shock absorber" is intended to be?

Also, I have seen many threads praising Fidelity. Can someone link me to the correct website for them? A Google search seems to return a number of options and I can't tell which one is the correct one.

Give CarChex a look. I specifically asked about the ABC system as was told it's covered.

Thanks.

I purchased the 2012 S63 last week and got the CarChex Titanium Plan with High Tech add-on.

About $6,000.

I've already had over $3,000 in claims covered, however. I think in the end I will be ahead.

It's a crap shoot if you have a significant repair in the next five years. It's comes down to piece of mind.

I just got a 5yr Fidelity Platinum warranty for my 2006 CLS 55. How much would it cost to replace my MB AMG along with a 5 year warranty for less than the current Blue Book value + 5 yr warranty cost for less than I paid for the warranty? I can not
