I bought the 4 year/40000 mile plan for my 2019 E53 from a MB dealer in the Chicago area. I paid 2,365. Today I was fooling with the "build this car" part of the mbusa site and saw that the price given for the 4 year plan is 1,965, an even 400 higher. I need to call the dealer when they're open to find out if this was a mistake or if they charge more than the mbusa site says.

Update: It apparently was a mistake - I was overcharged $400 as stated above. After many weeks the dealer finally reimbursed the 400 after I got a little nasty about waiting so long for it. In the meantime MBUSA increased the charge for the 4 year/40000 mile prepaid maintenance from 1965 to 2250.

Same here, I just paid $1750 (no tax or fees added) for a 3 maintenance package from Jeff Jackson (502-894-6829) of MB Louisville. His price was $150 less than Cassandra's (MB of Milwaukee). My car is a 2016 E350.

Hint: Best to purchase the 3 year PPM package when doing an B-A-B maintenance cycle that includes the 50K "A" service. The 50K "A" service requires the normally very costly spark plug replacement, and you get the brake fluid replaced during the other two "B" services.

I saw your post elsewhere. Can you break down how $1750 is a bargain? I've priced it out and cannot find any savings in that figure. If anything, it is a convenience to just pay it upfront.

The scenario it might save you is if you are inclined to pay full price for A and B services, which are ridiculous. They are oil changes and a bunch of inspections you can easily do. No reason at all to use the dealer for that.

Since I always take my car to the MB dealer for serving, PPM is the optimal economic option since I also view paying full price as ridiculous. The MB maintenance coupons never seem to come up regularly enough for me to take advantage of them when my car is due for maintenance. You seem to have a different approach which works best for you. My approach works best for me. I provided my information in case others have a similar approach to maintenance.
