Best Aftermarket Warranty for the Money
Hello all. I just bought a 2014 S63 with 12k miles and would like to get an aftermarket warranty. Any suggestions on which and from where?
Thank you,

Based on personal experience I would not buy any aftermarket warranty on a high dollar car like a MB. I got burned when Warranty Gold went belly up. I did participate in a class action law suit and recovered most of my money. I did have an aftermarket warranty bought through AAA on a BMW 7 series. It did pay but getting work approved was a hassle for me and the dealer. I would shop for a warranty backed by MB. Just MHO.

Got mine through my credit union. Covers 35k additional miles with a capped payout and fully open repair facility selection. More than worth it for the peace of mind that if the air ride goes out or some unexpected electrical nightmare pops up I'm covered. Definitely a huge benefit of financing through a credit union or USAA if they're available to you, as both offer best of the best interest rates and amazing additional coverage when it comes to warranties and additional insurance.

Coverage One.
Easily paid for itself on my 451 smart. Replaced the Navigation/Stereo head unit ($2600 CAD) and the oil pan ($400 CAD) with no hassle....other than the dealership foot-dragging.

Only certain companies will write you a policy for AMG vehicles. I procured one through Fidelity which is Jim Moran company (jim moran was the importer of Toyota, Lexus into the USA)
My policy is for engine plus and is for 36k miles or 3 years
the cost of the policy is 10k$
I too have a 63 and bought the protection considering the issues they have with these motors

You’re reviving an old thread, but I do actually have more input. I have since sold my smart 451 and picked up a W204 C300 and again I opted for the CoverageOne Ultimate Extended Warranty Plan.
Amazing ca but I did run into some of the W204 inevitable faults such as the ESL/EIS/ELV failure issue as well as engine mounts worn to the point they were causing a felt vibration as idle and a few small oil leaks.
The MB Vancouver dealership cost of these repairs was approx. $6100 CAD. The cost to me? $200/per in deductibles.
Hell of a bargain considering I have another year and a half of full back to front warranty coverage left.
