MB extended warranty in Florida

I have a 2020 MB sl 550. I would like to purchase the 3 year MB extended warranty. I am getting different stories. I am told that I have to purchase the warranty in Florida because the car is registered in Florida. I am told there is no discount in Florida. My Question is can I buy it out of state ?
And I was wondering what the cost was for the MB extended warranty 7 year 75 thousand miles. All imput greatley appreciated. Thank You. Bob.

I ran into this as well. I’m a snowbird and my cars are all registered in FL. FL has to sell their warranties at MSRP - it’s a state law. You can purchase warranties at other MB dealerships. I would shoot Jeff Jackson at MB of Louisville an email. He’s well versed in this.
