Just Sold Car - Can I Prorated Refund on CPO Extended Warranty
I just recently sold my 2018 S560 and it had a CPO Extended Warranty that I purchased. It doesn't expire until November 2024 and I was wondering if I am able to cancel it and get a pro-rated amount back? If so, what is the process to do this?

I’m almost positive the person who bought the warranty has to cancel it and then you can go in and see what you’re eligible for. It’s messed up, but just the way it goes.

What @Nenobenzo63 said, if you were the purchaser of the CPO coverage, yes. If you purchased a CPO car., no.

You can cancel the CPO ELW and get a pro-rated refund. Any MB dealer can cancel but the refund comes from the selling dealer. If this is the Base CPO, there is not refund on this plan.

Yes you can cancel for a pro rata refund. Call the dealership you bought the warranty from and they will have you sign something and then they will cancel it and sget you your refund.
