I have a few questions, pardon my ignorance. Will this rack work on my 2004 E500 wagon, e.g. will the bars mate properly to my rails? How long are the bars. How do the bikes attach and is there enough room to add a cargo box (in other words, to two adult bikes take up the width of the rails?). Are the alustyle bars easy to install and take-off? Do they include some sort of locks?
