FS: White Star flat badge + Regular 2.25" MB flat badge
For sale: Mercedes flat hood emblems:
A. Generic MB flat badge. $10 + shipping.
I assembled it, put it on the car and took it off immediately because I didn't like the look of it - I felt it was too large (2.25") for the existing W203 recess.
B. White Star flat hood emblem. $65 + shipping.
White Star flat badge is made from OE MB components by DFWdude. This flat badge fits perfectly in the recess of the W203 (1.75") (and other models - check on DFWdude's threads for fitment) and it has a lock mechanism exactly the same as the OE TriStar hood ornament. It is a real quality piece.
Check out the photo composite below. The regular MB flat badge is on the right and the White Star flat badge on the left.
The bottom photo shows how well the White Star flat badge sits in the W203 recess.
