GPS Entenna Ripped from panorama roof
Car MB C350 2008
I need some help. Yesterday while leaving my garage without letting it open completely, I ripped the Navi antenna off the roof on my car. I have the panorama roof and to me the roof is in three pieces, the large window that slides, the glass part that is stationary and a third piece in the shape of a half-moon and that piece is where the antenna is attached. I took the car to a shop yesterday and I was told the stationary part of the roof and the half moon shape piece has to be replaced, although only the half noon piece is damaged. Has anyone had this experience? Is it true that I need to replace this entire section of the roof in order to replace that small piece? To me it does not make any sense, since you can clearly see where the third piece is totally independent of the other pieces. Please help with any insight.
