Contact Steve @ mbenznl

He has them in stock. You're probably aware of how expensive these things are. I would advise from getting a "used" one unless you know the complete background of the part.

I know that Steve has em for 3k. If it's from a car that hasn't been involved in an accident than I don't see a reason why not buying a used one.

Again no help from anyone, figured it out on my own, took me 6 hours from start to finish and programming everything. Works like a charm. One of the best mods I've ever done with US traffic conditions. Not cheap though at all. Next mod power trunk lid and illuminated door sills.

I must say, I wasn't even all that sure what distronic is, but I watched this video:
...and it is amazing! You should do a DIY thread. The little bit of forum-surfing I've done leads me to believe that the "phatter" the car, the less DIY-mod-happy the members tend to be. BITD, the W203 forum was rife with great DIY threads, and I swear each one would inspire another (some guys posted DIY oil change or light bulb change). PM me the $$ and time it took you, though I know you feel the time doesn't count, as it's a "labor of love!"
