--

Sep. 2012, I joined the W211 ranks with a fairly loaded 2005 E55 in 040 Black that needed TLC and some parts. Here's what I've moved from wanted to found:

- Left Front Fog Lamp Wire Mesh Grille - Found & purchased a used one via eBay Make Offer
A 211 885 09 53

- Parktronic Sensors (not needed. Dealership charged 1 hour, stated:
"95260 performed sds test, several codes current for parktronics, electrical test showed no voltage from pts module to sensors, during testing hard reboot of pts module brought back power. parktronics working properly at this time. no codes currently present.")

- Right Front Fog Lamp assembly (my lens is broken) - Found & purchased

2006-2008 CLS55 19" ?Mono? 5 Spoke Wheels in Silver or Chrome:
- 2) 19" x 8.5" ET 25 (may have 255/35R19 Tires) hopefully with TPMS
- 2) 19" x 9.5" ET 28 (may have 285/30R19 Tires) hopefully with TPMS
Set of 20 matching Wheel Lug Bolts - Found & purchased

- Rear 3rd High Stop Light -
A 211 820 01 56 - 2118200156 or
A 211 820 15 56 - 2118201556
Found used & purchased

- Akebono EUR983 Front Pads - Loved them on my C43, now also on the "Beast"!
- Akebono EUR984 Rear Pads - ditto

- Dead Pedal that matches standard E55 pedals - VERY pleased with the ForMyMercedes.com Dead Pedal #998-8444 and price - HALF of what others charging!

- LED Interior Kit - Tried a eBay kit "19 light LED SMD Interior Light Kit HID White Mercedes Benz E-Class W211 Wagon", but a few have already died when the solder melted away from the contacts

- LED City Lights kit - bought set 5K from AZN Optics - one had a dead LED, AZN replaced it promptly N/C. (Wish they had 4300K as the 5000K are a bit blue compared to the pure white 4300K OEM Bi-Xenon HIDs

- Collapsible Spare Tire - Found & purchased

- Right Front door Power Seat Control Switch (my Head Rest button is broken off)
A 211 821 80 79 7C45 - 2118218079 7C45 - Bought new from fellow member.

- COMAND Navigation Digital Road Map US & Canada newer than 2005.3 - Found on eBay & purchased

I see even better prices on http://www.parts.com/ where they say Mercedes parts are supplied by AutoNation.

Looks like I'll be ordering a bunch of little parts/clips/hardware, etc.

Anyone care to share their experiences with Parts.com?

I've only bought a few small things from parts.com - no big ticket items - but the service was fast and the return address on the parts were from an MB dealer.

This site blocks IP from Vietnam, I am in Vietnam . I can only buy from Ebay, Amazon...etc. My car VIN is WDD2110545L010276, I am looking for right seat switch with part number: A 211 821 8079 7C45. Do you have any experience to share - thanks!
