For years I've reflexively purchased a 'bra' when I get a new car, and so I bought a Colgan BS5177BC last year when I got my 2014 C350 sedan. It's the hood piece only, it protects the leading edge of the hood; a separate item is available that covers the bumper.
What I've found is the thing is fundamentally incompatible with a hood ornament ... something I never had before. There's an opening in the center of the bra for the ornament, but I can't figure out any reasonable way to pull & stretch the thing to the right and left without it tugging on the ornament. If, like most W204 owners I didn't have the ornament, I'd keep it and use it. Note this item is for W204 "facelift" sedans, model years 2012 - 2014. Should fit any of these without an ornament.
So I'm offering it for sale for $79 plus shipping (to lower 48 states). New they sell for $95 - $100 and this one has never been used, so a nice bargain for someone.

Not interested but just letting you know you can take off the hood ornament. Idk if the bra is too thick to have the ornament reinstall on top of it, but the base of the ornament is small and can probably be fed through the hole. Open hood, look through hole, squeeze two black spring-loaded tabs, and push up.
Good point, yes, can go without the ornament while using the bra, easy to remove and put back in afterwards. May even be possible to reinstall once the bra is stretched into place. Still would rather have the ornament and not have to futz with it each time to use the bra ...
