Engine Warning and Gas Cap loose came and now gone?

I�m hoping to get some advice. My �gas cap loose� warning light came on, then went away. After that, the "Engine warning" light stayed on for several starts, and now that has also disappeared.
The car seems to be running normally. What could cause this sequence?
Should I still get the codes checked even though the lights are now off?
I�m planning a road trip soon and want to gain some knowledge before taking it to my independent mechanic.

Injector Drift Tool

I am going to attempt to swap out my #2 injector because the dealer wanted 3,600. Has anyone done this job and where did you purchase your drift tool and injector seal tool? I saw few places online ranging in prices from $200-$600. The drift tool part number is 278589011503.

2020 GLC 300 4MATIC � Auxiliary / Fog Light Add-On?

Has anyone installed auxiliary driving lights or fog lights on a 2020 GLC 300 4MATIC?

I�m considering adding additional forward lighting for better visibility (fog / dark rural roads), and I�m curious:
� What setup did you use (OEM-style, aftermarket, etc.)?
� Where did you mount them (lower grille, behind grille, bumper, etc.)?
� How did you wire them � factory integration or separate switch?
� Any photos or lessons learned?

Trying to keep it clean and close to factory-looking if possible. Thanks in advance.

For a 2022 GLC 300 what is the typical engine oil consumption?

It consumed 20% in the past 8.5 months. Is that normal, or is something wrong? Thanks. There was also a weird noise coming from the engine as well, after topping up with 0W-20 to 100%, the noise kinda disappeared.

Hello. Just purchased a 2018 GLC300 C253. Wondering about remote start options. Car is not equipped with the app option. Also is there anyone who�s had the dash dimmer switch not work or the cargo area release for the rear drivers side seat. Just a couple things I have discovered since receiving the vehicle Tuesday. Steering Wheel/steering wheel button Retrofits

Hello Everyone,
Do you know if any other models' steering wheels are a close bolt-on replacement for a 2020 GLC? I really don't like the black buttons that the base wheel has, and I was looking to get a wheel with the silver buttons or find the buttons from another model to replace the black ones.

X253 220d � Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor Location + TCU P060C00

Two questions on my 2021 GLC 220d 4Matic X253:
1. Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor (P047200)
Getting a short circuit to ground fault on the exhaust back pressure sensor. Can anyone point me to the exact location on the X253? Is it accessible without a ramp or do I need the car up in the air?

2. TCU Internal Fault (P060C00)
Also getting an internal CPU fault on the TCM (VGSNAG3, software 14.49.00, MB No. 0009015000, Bosch). Symptoms are gearbox stuck in limp mode on cold start, RPM climbing past 2500 before shifting, paddle shifters not responding. Cycling the ignition fixes it every time.

Has anyone had the same TCU fault on the X253? Was it resolved with a firmware flash or did it need a full TCU replacement?
