Please find the attached photos and info for my 2007 Mercedes Benz SL55 AMG Roadster (R230) of which 583 US models were built this model year. This model is the final rendition of the M113K supercharged (Kompressor) V-8 engine, which includes the last refinements made to the AMG 55 engine produced by Mercedes Benz/AMG.
In 2003, Mercedes Benz revolutionized the sports car market with a retractable hardtop SL model. The same configuration of this special top exists in the current SL models offered today. The retractable hardtop allows for immediate storage of the hardtop inside the trunk when converted into a convertible with the touch of a button. 16 seconds is all it takes to change back and forth from convertible to hardtop.

Aluminum paddle shifters and carbon fiber interior trim panels are some of “the new 2007 model year” revised interior features.
360mm two piece front rotors with revised calipers and exterior “smoke” tinted tail lights are some of “the new 2007 model year” revised exterior features.
2007 Engine revisions include:
More boost (11.9 psi) from a revised supercharger, larger fuel injectors (543cc), larger throttle body (80mm), and revised ECU mapping, all of which improved the performance ratings. 0-60 times were advertised as 4.4 seconds. Engine output was increased from 493 HP/516 TQ in the past SL55 models to 510 HP/531 TQ.
This car comes with the P1 package options of Keyless Go, Active Ventilated Seats, Multicontour seats, and Bi-Xenon Headlamps with Corner-Illuminating Foglamps.

The exterior color is Capri Blue (359) and the interior color is Ash (218) with Nappa leather. The Capri Blue color is a rare for a 2007 SL 55 – this is 1 of 4 I've seen in the last 10 years. The majority of the SL55’s were either Black or Silver.
FUTURE PLANS: For me, this car hits all the buttons as a sports car should. Lots of power, lots of braking, oh - and the convertible hardtop... I will do nothing else but ENJOY THIS CAR.
