Took delivery of mine last week in Dubai. Managed to take it camping last weekend and get it nice and dusty.
It was delivered on a flatbed to my house. It seems that on the way from the dealer the car experienced some shocks that made it think it had been in multiple accidents. This caused a bunch of cascading warning messages and errors that made it impossible to drive the car. I had to acknowledge each impact warning on the MBUX screen and then reset the car. Basically it took 90 minutes before I could actually drive the car out of the middle of the street where the flatbed had offloaded it and into my garage. I’ve had no problems since then.

Delivered with what clearly are street tires not designed for off-road use. That's a little ridiculous to me. You're lucky you didn't get stuck out in the middle of nowhere while camping.
You’re right but I wasn’t alone, had a spare tire, and all six of my G-wagons went off-road with street tires. I go off-road to get to a destination rather than for the sake of off-roading, so I typically find the route that is suitable for the vehicle I’m driving and how it’s equipped.
What's the charging rate (kw) using the Tesla supercharger on the G580?
And could you also please let me know the price too?
Like the forum member posted above, I think it’s capped at 200kw.
About the pricing, with that I was a little surprised. I’m used to free supercharging at Tesla superchargers or very little cost, like $7-15 for the stop. With the new G, I received email receipts of each stop along the supercharger network costing around $25 - $45. Not a big deal, but it was a surprise. There’s a premium added to the supercharging rate for non-Teslas in my opinion. But the convenience is definitely worth it.
I'm also spoiled by free unlimited supercharging, but as you note, we are paying for reliability/convenience.
It's still cheaper than gas for a G.
For non-teslas there are a couple pricing factors:
1. time of use/demand will determine pricing
2. tesla now offers a "membership" that reduces prices, but requires a monthly membership fee.
