Is it possible/easy to swap out the tiny backpack to a regular spare tire?
As the title said, is it just a simple swap from the tiny backpack to the regular spare tire? The backpack has some sort of electrical, so it can be locked, right?
I just don't like that tiny useless backpack.

It’s possible, but it’s not a simple bolt-on swap. The “backpack” is tied into the car’s electrical system (lock actuator, warning sensors, sometimes a camera or lights), so removing it usually triggers errors unless those systems are coded out or adapted. A full-size spare also needs a different carrier, mounting hardware, and sometimes bumper or tailgate changes.
People do swap to a regular spare, but it typically involves aftermarket mounts, wiring changes, and coding, not just a quick replacement.
