Not sure if others have this issue, but my design box came from the factory really squeaky. Especially in a parking garage, the squeaky sounds would be really loud and echo throughout.
I decided to spray some white lithium grease on the metal hinges and it was a quick and easy fix that made the box open and close silently.

Step 1. take the plastic cover off of the hinge.
Step 2. Just apply a little grease spray at where the hinge mechanism and arm meet.
