What's the largest size tire that will fit on an '02 G500?

The Pirelli Scorpion Zeros at size 285/55 R18's should fit fine on the stock or AMG rims. If you want to put a larger size wheel on the G500, I would not suggest it. The tire might touch the wheel arches when turning on wheels larger than 18". Of course, you could wait a few weeks till G500's start showing up in rap videos to see what is and isn't possible. 
Actually, the latest Jay-Z video has a US-spec silver G500 in it with...well...interesting wheels. They are definitely smaller than 18", quite a bit smaller. Nice gold and chrome wire wheels.
