I have a CLK430 that I just put up for sale today because I'm interested in getting a G500 or G55 black on black. I'll be a soon to be owner of a G class

The G class (the tank, big box) will continued to be made by MBZ. The rumor is they will update the headlights and dramatically improve the interior (about time).
Hope this helps.

Dont know why they would want to improve the headlights... the old school H4 type quartz lamps on my 2003 G kick *** on the HID lamps that are on my E55...

But most of the other guys who are doing them I believe, and AMG Manufaktur when they do them, use a single headlamp unit, with the electronics and lamps to allow bi-xenons in the US, and low-beam only xenons in the EU (I'm pretty sure that that's the way it works in the EU countries - that high-beam xenons are illegal).

I would get the Brabus conversion, but I'd like to keep it as stock looking as possible.
