Hello all, might be in the market for for the G500, and came across this ebay ad for an 04' advertising as the only yr model that has warranty for the life of the vehicle, sounds obnoxiously untrue? Can anyone comment on that? Also, what is the best yr to buy, obviously the current but wht about from 2000-2004?

all years had a 4/50k warranty, 2004 was the last year for free A/B services for the 4/50k period. 2005 went to just 4/50k warranty no free maintenance. Also with 2005 you can purchase an extended warranty anytime during the warranty period unlike the prior model years where you had to buy it within the first 12months/12k miles.

Thanks guy, thats wht i thought. So all the MBs had full warranty 4yr/50k upto 2004 then. Ha, damn ebay! plays with ur mind.
