Just got my 03 G500 and we took it for a spin. The rear door makes this LOUD noise going over small bumps, around corners. Sort of a creaking/knocking noise. I had my wife drive while I rode in the back. It is coming from near the hinge. I took off my socks and closed them in the door on the hinge side and the noise stopped.

Anyone have this problem?

Any better fix for this. I need my socks.

It probably isn't shutting properly but it will covered under the CPO warranty. I know that every time we had the car washed i'd have to pull over 20yards down the road as the guys would nver have slammed the doors hard enough and they would tap incessently. My rear hatch lock froze on me once and wouldn't unlock when all the other doors did- even from the inside. Fixed under warranty.

BTW- You don't need socks in Miami! (though i gues your patients would be alittle disconcerted if you entered the operating room in flip-flops!)
