2002G500 ESP problem
ESP system keeps coming on and locks. Have to use limp home mode repeatedly. M.B. mechanic cannot find the problem. Any ideas - Alternator?, Engine control module? Wheel spin sensor? Thanks, tjopilot.

You may have to have the 4 wheel drive computer replaced. I got stuck in a blizzard when it went south. Had to walk home on crutches in the snow (don't ask!)
I will check on the exact part when I see my dealer on Friday and have him pull up my service records.
As I recall the service writer said that he was glad I invested in the extended CPO warranty as the repair was $$$$. Hope it is something else for you.
