Hello all...

I got a brand new Nav disk for my 2004 G500, and while it loads up or as it says it is "Activating") the navigation disk sometimes (like 1 out of a 100 initial attempts, usually just says:

"No NAVI-CD

Please change CD."

however after 15 minutes to an hour of driving it all of a sudden "activates" or loads up...

I have cleaned the in dash player with a special Radio Shack drive cleaner, and it alos plays music CD's perfectly so the drive seems to be ok I suppose.

The Nav, once up and running, works as it should, with everything working! I will try to eject it and reinsert it to see if it will start right back up again, and it never does... Just takes it's sweet time to kick in!

What do you all think, or has anyone experienced this?

Sometimes when it kicks in, and I press "MAP" to see my current location, it will completely have a wrong map with the arrow moving over the screen with no road even lined up with it, and will say "SAT 00" in the upper right hand corner... You as well?

My disk is from the 2005 CD Set, but that shouldn't matter!
