G550 vs. G55 cont'd
I started a different performance related thread in the G55 forum.
Here's my question. I know the cars are different and I want to know how.
I know about the engine and the body styling. What else?
How is the suspension different? Can the G550 suspension be tightened up somehow? Or are they vastly different?
I actually don't like the SLR style pipe as they won't function well off road (though they look SICK!!).
Anything else you guys can point out to me?
Also, what is considered a great lease deal on a G550?
Thanks
T

Keep in mind that the G550 has the 7G-Tronic transmission; and I would NOT want that in a G. The G55 still has the 5 speed auto, which is strong and well proven.
Also, none of the G550's or G55's in the USA have a trailer hitch, or the ability to get one. Don't plan to pull a trailer.
The G55's have a lot of useless chrome bling on them that the G550's do not.
FWIW, that side exit exhaust has a whole lot less chance of being bashed off-road than one coming straight out the back.
