Has someone ever did this while you were driving your g wagen?
when your driving your g wagen,has anyone ever gave you a thumbs down? Im not sure if people are do this because they think its just a box or they are jealous. But it does get annoying,happened 2 times

When i had my G500 in May 2002, there were only about 3 G500's here ( 2 silver,mine was black) many people would look at it in a confused way then smile. Some people cant even beileve thats it was a 2002 .

............I think it may not have anything to do with your G specifically. Rather, a lot of people get really upset about seeing people drive big SUV's. I bet that is what it is.

Im sure it was a tree-hugging, granola gulping, Birkenstock wearing idiot who was upset to see you burning fuel at the rate of 10 MPG.
The funnier thing is probably the factthat this idiot was driving a 1969 Chevrolet that creates more harmfull emissions SITTING still than you G wagen running WOT.

this reminds me of an incident i had while waiting for a parking stall. i was with my family in a parking lot at a shopping mall. a group of young (eary twenties; okay i'm just old) guys walked by and one of them said, "f-you and your mercedes!"
got some haters here in this world. too bad they dont realize that we work hard for the things we own (okay, some of us do). and they wonder why we encurage a college education.

I dont know about everywhere else (exept the states cuz i lived there and at that time the G was LUFFED), but where i am from if they see you in a G, it is all RESPECT, unless a teenager is jealous thats another story, because to decide to own a G means you think uniquly, unlike the other hundreds who go for a Range Rover or a Cayenne, or it simply means you go out hunting in the desert a lot...
