SRS light comes on/off while driving
Hi guys,
My SRS light comes on and off while driving. I have a malfunction displayed which disappears whenever it feels like. I had the fault reset, but it doesn't help. It would come up after a while. I would guess that there's some wiring problem or fuse or something like that, but I'm not sure. I searched the forums but to no avail on the solution. The MB mechanic i took the car to said that the front passenger seat has some sort of a sensor which always break. He says it's a problem across all MB models and of course the sensor itself is not cheap to fix. Is that true? Is there any other simple fix? Can I just turn off the damn error so it's not displayed even if there's no error? Having a "malfunction 1" on dash display is sooo annoying. Especially when it comes on and off. Thanks for any help!
