Herb Chambers reputable? Looking at an '07 G55
I did a prelim search around the variations in hp output and various other cosmetic improvements over the years thanks to the generosity around knowledge sharing here in this forum. Thank you.
I'm considering taking a look at this G55 at Herb Chambers.

Four specific questions:
1) Is Herb Chambers a reputable dealership in the New England area?
2) It's interesting to see that this G55 doesn't have the front grill guard. Is this a common thing for people to take them off?
3) They tell me it's a 2 owner car with no accidents, but I want to make sure to do an independent PPI. Any G-Class shops in the greater Boston area? My trouble is, I am located in the Pacific Northwest so I have no one in Boston who can take a look on my behalf.
4) Fair negotiated price from $78K list?
Anything else I should consider here as I tentatively take a look at this vehicle?

I can answer 1 1/2 of the questions lol:
Answers:
1): I've been working with Nathan Haugh (Service Advisor) for 7 years with no problems and the salesmen we've worked with (Al Henriques, who doesn't work there anymore) was very helpful.
2) It looks like the front grill guard was taken off and replaced with an aftermarket bumper (Brabus?). Don't know if it's common though.

I believe that Herb Chambers is the only AMG specialist shop in NE. They have a good service and sales rep.
Make sure you get a CPO warranty as part of the price.
Look at the NADA book for proper pricing.
